This was the last part of our Adventure while in Bohol.

Chocolate hills can only be found in Bohol. The Chocolate Hills are a geological formation in the Bohol province of the Philippines. There are at least 1,260 hills but there may be as many as 1,776 hills spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometers. They are covered in green grass that turns brown (like chocolate) during the dry season, hence the name.

You have to climb the 214 steps to reach the viewing deck to see the chocolate hills formation.  The Landscape at the Chocolate Hills is unique and  a visit to Bohol would not be complete without seeing the hills. The hills are very interesting and you can get some great shots across the sprawling scenery.

  1. Gorgeous! It looks like you are having lots of fun with your travels! I don’t get too far with my five little ones, but I love reading about places around the world and seeing pictures of the wonders that abound!
