THINGS TO DO AND SEE

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

POLYNESIAN CULTURAL CENTER

Spend the day exploring the rich heritage of the Pacific Islands. Wander through 42 acres of tropical splendor and enjoy the adventure of traditional hands-on activities. Dine like royalty at an authentic Polynesian luau and top it off with the most spectacular evening show in the islands, Ha: Breath of Life. All of Polynesia in one exciting place.

CANOE PAGEANT

Hawaii’s only water-borne show. Native Polynesians in colorful, traditional costumes treat you to the energetic dance and music of their cultures top double-hulled canoes in the Center’s lagoon! Featuring eight island villages and exhibits that have earned the People's Choice Award as Hawaii's favorite paid attraction.

SAMOA VILLAGE PRESENTATION

The Samoa village has several presentations throughout the day. It is fascinating and very entertaining. Some of their demonstrations are how to start a fire with two sticks, and how to climb a coconut tree.

TAHITI VILLAGE COOKING DEMONSTRATION

A glimpse of a cooking demonstration the island way in the village of Tahiti. Demonstrated the traditional Hawaiin way of cooking/roasting the pig in an underground oven. Also food tasting they presented the "Poi" a Hawaiian dish made from the fermented root of the taro, which has been baked and pounded to a paste.

BUFFET DINNER AT THE GARDEN

The above mention activities are the highlight only during the tour, but the whole tour is a full day event.  Not to mention the Canoe ride, visit the Polynesian Villages, the Hula dance and a lot more. At the end of the tour is a buffet dinner at the garden.

THE EVENING SHOW: HA-BREATH OF LIFE

The show is the after dinner activity. It is the story of a boy born in a distant paradise. He’s nurtured by a village, learns the ways of his people, finds love by moonlight, and defends everything with heart-stopping bravery. This is an evening show after the dinner, the theatre is open air, and it feels chilly sometimes, so don't forget to bring a light jacket.
