Tet, the Vietnamese New Year, is the most eagerly diverse and the most important holiday in the Vietnamese culture. Tet brings generations both young and old together celebrating the new year fortunes with traditions passed down from ancestors.

Tet Festival Austin (TFA20) is the 22nd Annual Vietnamese New Year (Tet) Celebration presented by the Vietnamese American Community of Austin, Texas (VACAT) – in collaboration with other Vietnamese American based organizations – for the community to preserve and share the culture with others. This year, we greet the year of the Rat with an all-day festival and many fun activities for all ages.

Authentic Vietnamese Food, Red Envelope (Li Xi), Cultural Performances, Dragon Dances and many games/activities for kids.
