Ciara and the Future
This year-long relationship proved to be a hit in Hip Hop Heaven. When Atlanta native Ciara and Future started dating, they sparked a spark that left the entire world in awe of their love for each other. There’s just something a couple of street rapper and an R&B singer falling in love that makes sense to fans. The two complement one another so perfectly. While popular opinion may argue that it was Ciara who “raised” Future’s celebrity caliber, I must disagree and say that both of their careers benefited during this romance. Prior to their relationship, Ciara’s career had disappeared into the abyss and rapper Future was just an underground rapper with strong rumors. In 2013, Future wrote Ciara’s first chart-topping single in years called “Body Party”. Fans were enthusiastic about Ciara’s new voice and Future’s career starting to resonate with a more general audience. This couple instantly caught the public’s attention. From matching tattoos to public appearances, it seems endless. However, after several cheating allegations, a new baby, and a canceled engagement, the couple split in August 2014. While the two have had to move on with their lives (particularly CiCi who is now dating Seahawk quarterback Russel Wilson) fans cannot miss out on this dynamic duo. Not to mention the music.
Chris Brown and Rihanna
In 2005, the relationship between Chris Brown and Rihanna continued to develop. In 2008, they’re undeniably an item. What makes this relationship so great is that both artists have essentially grown up with their core fans. This gives the couple as many points as being acceptable. After all, who better to identify with being young and in love than those who are also young and in love?
The handsome pair were practically inseparable until 2009 when Brown attacked Rihanna in the car leaving a pre-Grammys party.
The couple had a really public breakup after the “Loyal” singer was indicted on felony assault charges.
Since then, the two singers have steadily reached the peak of their careers.
Rihanna has been romantically linked to many other celebrities and Chris has managed to enter and destroy other relationships.
The two were rumored to be getting back together after Brown’s restraining order from Rihanna was lifted, as they were seen hanging out together in public.
While domestic violence is NEVER okay, I believe in the back of our minds we all hoped that the incident would never have happened in the first place.

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa
Rapper Wiz Khalifa first started dating Amber Rose back in 2011 after her relationship with rap star Kanye West resulted in flames. Amber, a Philadelphia native with a “get around” cool attitude, has the world captivated by her beauty and striking looks. Wiz, still riding on the success of his Kush and Orange Juice mixtape, instantly fell in love with the model after engaging in an exchange via Twitter. The two soon became a couple who appeared at virtually every industry event hand in hand. In 2012, Amber and Wiz married and in 2013, they welcomed their son Sebastian into the world. A year later, Amber filed for divorce, leaving the entertainment world confused. In the weeks leading up to their split, the pair were still seen together in public and even talked about their relationship. Amber and Wiz’s carefree personalities make this duo a perfect match for one another. Wiz is a self-proclaimed “rockmaker,” and Amber is a free-spirited beauty. Together, they exude an infectious modern hippie aura. The two at all times seemed happy to be in one another’s presence. Their chemistry just radiates and makes falling in love look even sweeter.
Since the split, the two have had several falls through social media over co-parenting their now two year old. Amber has been linked to the likes of Chris Brown, Nick Cannon, and James Harden.
And Wiz….well…he was still a mason.
Even although Wiz Khalifa’s career has remained intact since their breakup, fans still miss this beautiful couple. Recently, Amber took to Instagram and announced Wiz as her “Man Crush Monday”. Since then, the two have been spotted out with their son for Easter, but are currently showing no signs of reconciliation.
