When one thinks of models on social media, the mind turns to Instagram profiles which are loaded with beauty photos of a lovely girl with lots of followers keen to generate flattering comments and plenty of “likes”. In most cases, these models are essentially the products they want to promote because they hope to do the shoots and promotions for themselves.
So far so good, but Jeimmy Garzón is more than that as an entrepreneur and definitely does not limit himself to just Instagram pictures and self-promotion. There is more to him than meets the eye and examine what do meets the eye, that’s really saying something.
Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Jeimmy started working straight out of the modeling academy where he enrolled at the age of 14, stints in diverse commercial campaigns and tv programs. While her childhood dream was to model and act, she studied business at school which has served her well in a non-modeling capacity.
He is the founder and CEO of Oliberica, a Bogotá-based import/export company specializing in wines, olives, olive oil, sangria and other high-end products. The company has seen impressive growth since its founding and Jimmy anticipates continued growth for the company and looks forward to increased success for the venture in the coming years.
Meanwhile, Jimmy is also focusing on his promotions at the moment Maguie’s house, a London-based boutique fashion line. This job makes him divide his time between Colombia and England.
Social media has been good for Jaimmy, and she is taking full advantage of the opportunities presented to her as she builds her brand and company in a concerted effort to secure a comfy future for herself and her family.
