Simple Mexican Rice Recipe
The BEST Authentic Mexican Rice that is so good and so easy, it will become THE side dish to make with all of your Mexican dishes.
- In a large skillet sautee/ brown 1 cup of uncooked jasmine rice in cooking oil.
- Add 1 tsp bouillon powder, 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 to tsp salt then immediately
- Add 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce.
- Add 2 cups of water.
- Stir frequently
Cover and simmer until rice is done 30 to 45 minutes.
Serve it with grilled Mexican style chicken, Jalopeno, refried beans, tortilla, and a slices of fresh avocados.
