With your team far away at the moment, it may seem a little harder to bond with them. Depending on your team dynamic, it might be fun to have a little peek at one another’s homes. What you can do is get everybody to do a little prep show and tell. This is a story building game that has different variations. Consequence generally played in small groups, where each member writes down a story line. You can add images to the game. Some people start by introducing characters, or simply writing a random list of adjectives or words. Choose whichever is the most logistical for your group. The end result should be super cute and it is absolutely an ice breaker, without asking too many questions from your employees.

There are several of them available for download online. Put your staff in pairs or teams and have them race to find out emoji codes. You can select categories, such as movies, where titles are written with emojis. Just ensure they do not cheat, and set a time limit.
Hunt
Thankfully, there’s an app for this one. Chasing geese has many team building ideas for scavenger hunts that can be adapted for remote workers. You can get them to go out and find out about things. With everybody on their smartphones, it should not be too hard to manage. Give them foolish tasks and challenges, that’s bound to be something different.
Team Party
