Have you ever wondered where fashion, makeup, internet sensations, beauticians and celebrities seem to merge together in perfect harmony? Well, I’m pretty sure BeautyCon LA is that place. July 11th is the third annual BeautyCon LA and each year it seems to get bigger and better. Big brands from NYX Cosmetics to Sprinkles Cupcakes to Barbie were all in for the big event. Now if you have never been to one of the numerous BeautyCon, let me tell you what it is like. Imagine hundreds of girls (and a few guys) marching around a big downtown block in LA, all anxiously waiting to be let into the safe haven of makeup and sweetness lovers like them.
It is the perfect sanctuary for anyone who loves beauty. Not only are they general fans; there were many celebrities who attended this event as well. BeautyCon “brings fans and content creators together in one place” (BeautyCon Media). There are live panels on beauty and lifestyle advice hosted by Bethany Mota, Zendaya, and Joe Zee. Also, live performances from Becky G and Zack and Zack.
Guests not only got to attend panels and shows, but they also had the opportunity to walk around the booths of brands such as Nasty Gal, Barbie, Mr.Kate, Skinfix, California Donuts, NYX and plenty of more. Guests can shop, taste and test every kind of beauty and fashion products all day long! And to accompany you in doing so, we are a multitude of beauty and fashion Icons, bloggers, YouTubers, and activists. This is really the event of the year for all beauty/makeup lovers.
