I took the time to schedule an appointment and try it myself. After kayaking 5 miles down a windswept river, my left shoulder strained a little. I could have gone to a chiropractor, but I found them too harsh. I got a deep tissue massage and it loosened up the strain in my left shoulder. I’m impressed. I’m a spa enthusiast and have been to some of the top spas from NYC to Miami and they’re by far my favorite.

Ruby’s Massage and Beauty Spa uses its Holistic Medicine knowledge to understand the various causes of stress and tension. I’ve been to several spas, incl isolation tank at Brighton but the hot stone and deep tissue massage at Ruby’s is certainly probably the greatest. The homeopathic scent from the spa is an instant stress reliever. I was amazed he was able to identify precisely where my shoulder hurt and proceeded to release the pinching pain. I got a nice hot towel covering my back and that I could feel deep relaxation on my trapezius. It did not go away right away, but it felt like a release of pressure and about 15 minutes later it was practically gone.
