Contouring is one of millennials’ favourite makeup tricks. What woman does not want magnificently highlighted cheekbones and glowing skin? Top 3 Tips for Perfect Contouring by Angela Lanter
Highlight and Contour became a beauty buzzword these days. Until Kim K. dazzled us with selfies of her face slathered in streaky makeup, not many of us had ever heard those happy three words combined, but let me be the first to tell you, a lady who is highlighted and properly contoured is turning everybody’s heads. time.
I’m self proclaimed queen of HAC (Highlighting and Contouring). In fact, I’ve done three tutorials on it! Contouring can change the overall appearance of your face, or it can be used to focus on a single area, such as your nose. A good highlight can add radiance and show off your cheekbones like never before.
Here are my three most vital tips:
- Highlight the plateaus of your face (cheekbones, forehead, chin, bridge of nose), and do not forget to at all times add a little bit of highlighting to your cupid’s bow and the inner corners of your eyes. This will give the look of a fuller upper lip and a nice bright eye look!
- Contour the area you want to carve, or slim. Doing this can help create the appearance of more prominent cheekbones or even help hide a double chin!
- Mix, mix, mix! It is extremely important to be sure that you have blended all the hard lines. You want to look flawless, not striped like a zebra.
