The Annual Las Vegas Black Film Festival comes at a time when important conversations about race in the mainstream media are being talked about on a national level. This will be the third year the festival has presented awards, hosted acting classes and screened nominated entries.
The four-day event co-founded by filmmaker and “First Lady of Gospel Theatre,” Michelle Payne, begins Thursday, April 28th and will end that Sunday, May 1stst.
