Meek Mill took to Twitter to vent his frustration at what appeared to be happening to everybody in the music industry. First on Meek’s hit list was Nicki Minaj’s ex-fiancé, Safaree “SB” Samuels. The MMG rapper called Safaree “gay” after a video of his old dance surfaced on the internet. He even implied that SB was a wimp for letting Nicki openly flirt with other rappers during their relationship. Meek later made it clear that Nicki was not the reason for the success of her latest album, Dreams worth More Than Money, which sold more than 300,000 copies in just 11 days.
Meek also expressed his dissatisfaction with MTV’s VMA nomination:
“I didn’t think much of the award…I knew they would give it to the white kids who did it…That’s why we bought our own Rollies and got our own trophy!”
Ouch!
Drake became the next point of interest for this “Dream Chaser” Twitter rant after he stated that Young Money failed to retweet his album. Meek even claimed that Drake didn’t write his own raps and that a man named Quentin Miller was really the ghostwriter in question!
Drake fans everywhere are furious. The “Drake Hive” was quick to reply with lots of memes and social media posts.
And for those of you wondering if Meek would say his account was hacked:
…Absolutely not. This Philly native does not seem to regret what was said.
What was in the water yesterday? Meek clearly feels some sort of way… about everybody and everything. Maybe he is just hungry?
Hopefully Nicki cooked him breakfast this morning.
