Beachclub Drai smoked above The Cromwell last Sunday, July 5thth as the long awaited Ultimate Bikini Championships kicks off for its first week. So fittingly that after America’s most cherished national vacation, 16 of the most lovely women from across the US flew in for an opportunity to chase the American dream, the chance to win $50,000 in the finals of the competition on September 6.th.
UBC gives audiences what they want this vacation weekend. Guest judges included Nick Sakai from 12 AM Run, journalist from Las Vegas Weekly, international model Helen Yee and Playboy Playmate Patrice Hollis. Even the legend and club owner Victor Drai himself came to cheer on the contestants. The models faced one another until they fell to Christian Evans and Sherri Lansang in the 4th and final round, where in an unprecedented turn of events, they both got their ticket to the final! The crowd was evenly split, with each side equally rabid in their devotion, and the judges had no choice but to call it a draw. “This first week has been amazing. I don’t know how the judges came to a decision with all these amazingly beautiful models. The whole UBC experience at Drai’s is not to be missed!
