Audi revised the A4 range for MY2018 in the UK adding more features as standard and reviving the successful Black Edition.
In fact, the Black Edition specification proved so successful that over 50 per cent of UK buyers ordered it when it was last available for the previous A4 generation.
The new Audi A4 Black Edition is available together with the whole range of engines, from the entry-level 1.4-liter TFSI to the V6 TDI Quattro.
Specifications include a set of 19-inch five-arm alloy wheels in a matt titanium finish, with Audi offering gloss black 18-inch wheels as a no-cost option, a titanium black styling package that extends to mirror housings, single frame grille, and window surrounds, side skirts, spoiler. rear and air intakes, rear privacy glass, acoustic front side windows, and black roof rails for the Avant version.
The sports model gets a seven-inch full-color display for the instrument binnacle rather than the original five-inch monochrome version, heated front seats are clad in what Audi calls Twin Leather upholstery while the S-Line models get an Alcantara-leather interior.
Audi UK has also announced that it’ll offer cruise control and rear parking sensors as standard on all its models, starting with the A1. Other updates include a revised Technology Package which now offers Virtual Cockpit, wireless charging and MMI navigation plus.
The also revised Comfort and Sound packages now offer – depending on model features – either front parking sensors or a reverse camera, hill hold assist, BOSE or Bang & Olufsen sound systems and heated front seats or an advanced keyless access system.
