The most advanced BMW sports car of our time has now been further optimized by tuning specialists at AC Schnitzer. At the Geneva International Motor Show in March, the Aachen-based tuning specialist will unveil the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid with new carbon aerodynamic components and a custom livery.
The i8 by AC Schnitzer, with a 25 mm drop at the front and 20 mm at the rear, is significantly closer to the road than the standard vehicle, making sure greater stability in all cornering situations. Elements of the AC Schnitzer carbon front spoiler, carbon side skirts and Carbon Racing rear wing make sure that the driving pleasure can be fully enjoyed under acceleration from both the powerful petrol engine and the electrical hybrid motor.
In addition, the carbon center front spoiler, the carbon hood top including the center strut, and the carbon front side wings emphasize the sporty attributes of the BMW i8.
The carbon air outlets at the front and rear not only give the i8 a certain visual addition, they also provide a wiser structure of wheel arch vents.
