Calling all foodies and philanthropists Eat for a Cause taking place on Saturday, September 21, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the 7th annual Taste of Gramercy Neighborhood event will take place in Irving Place between 17th and 18th Streets.
It’s a gastronome’s dream! The Taste of Gramercy Neighborhood has some of the best restaurants in New York City. People travel from all over the world with recommendations for dining at Gramercy. This year’s attendees include favorites like Bouley at Home, Boucherie, The Breslin, Irvington Bar and Restaurant, Taco Electrico, The Clocktower and lots of more. Some of the gastronomic delights available this year include a lobster roll, a North Haven Oysters “double-crunch” style with pomegranate seeds and sesame seeds and arancini with beef ragu, buffalo mozzarella and saffron.
Annually net profit of the healthy eating program at local public schools, including PS 40 and School of the Future. In an effort not to let food go to waste, all leftovers are used to feed the homeless through the Bowery Mission.
