The Jordan brand last summer gave Air Jordan fans 1 “Shattered Backboards” and their hype is crazy! Sold out in minutes, it became the hottest shoe of the summer and for their fall the hype will start with another exclusive Air Jordan 1 model. UNC pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. This model was first seen back in 1985 and has been used in many other Air Jordan models, but this is the first time we have got our hands on a remastered version of the Air Jordan 1 UNC. This release comes just in time for the most significant part of any campus, homecoming. Not sure if the Jordan brand had this in mind when they decided to release it this weekend, but nothing is accidental with regards to Nike and the Jordan Brand. While many Tar Heel fans and UNC lovers will love this shoe, only Duke’s blue devils will overlook this release.
