Chanel’s ready-to-wear summer collection takes place on Chanel Airlines where there are terminals where models enter and exit, tickets with flight attendants working and gates with spectators waiting for flights. The collection sticks with iconic Chanel pieces like tweed blazers and pencil skirts. Karl Lagerfeld adds a modern twist to some blazers and cropped jackets by making the zippers resemble a leather bomber jacket.
Besides tweed, many unique materials were incorporated into the traditional Chanel look. Feathers are added to medium length blazers and dresses. The jumpsuits are made of pink metallic fabric with sheer overlay with diamond statement jewelery pieces.
One style of dress was seen throughout the show in nearly all types of material; button down dress of medium length.
Airplanes are a major theme throughout the collection, not just the venue. Airplane patterns in red, white, and blue are visible everywhere. It’s in sweaters, dresses, blouses, and airplane brooches dressing jumpsuits.
Chanel supports new, taboo trends; denim and workwear. This brand, which is known for its stylish and complex look, incorporates casual fabrics into its collections. The model walked in a floral denim dress and wide trousers. Keep an eye out for what this means for the company’s dress code.
The male models look dapper in suits.

The models wore reflective sunglasses, over-the-shoulder purses, and snapbacks to complete their outfits. Their glamor is from another galaxy. They have sky blue eye shadows from eye to eye.
Several famous faces were spotted on the runway, such as Kendall Jenner and Binx Walton, and the audience, such as Amy Tastely and Saint Vincent. Karl Lagerfeld took retired model Cara Delevingne with him during his last runway trip.
