If you do not want to spend $50 on a costume you will only wear once, I’ve got you covered. All of these costumes use clothing you possibly already own. And if you do must shell out some cash for these wardrobe items, fear not! You can absolutely wear them again, so you do not have to waste money on something you will forget on November 1st.
RED CLOTH (BEAUTIFUL LITTLE LIAR):
So you will want a red coat for this. Try to find a trench or peacoat for this, and ensure it is long enough when you wear it. If you cannot find a coat with a hood, do not sweat it! You can at all times sew it on later or go without it. Put on black tights with black heels, and you are good to go! (Of course, if you feel more snug wearing clothes under a jacket, I would absolutely recommend it!)
Here are some places that sell red coats with and without headscarves:
MINNIE MOUSE:
Find a red and white polka dot skirt or dress (otherwise you can get a plain red skirt and stick the polka dots out of adhesive). If you choose a skirt, wear a red T-shirt. If it is cooler on Halloween where you are, I suggest wearing black tights. For shoes, you can choose a pair of high heels or yellow flats.
As for the ears, here’s a simple DIY for you: Cut circles out of an old piece of cardboard. Then, cover the cardboard with black flannel. Glue the pieces on the black headband. For the ribbon, find red and white polka dot fabric and easily tie the ribbon. Once done, tape it between the ears.

WALTER WHITE:
You can absolutely recreate Walter’s iconic yellow lab coat, but I’m going to suggest something a little easier!
Walter White often wore a large neutral-colored jacket with oversized glasses, and a black fedora. In the end, that’s all you need for this “costume.” Wear a plain polo or button-down flannel under your jacket, together with boyfriend jeans or khakis and you are done!
