If you’re a fan of country music, 2022 is the year for you. Dozens of your favourite country artists will be performing this year. Read on for 10 upcoming country music concerts you cannot miss.
- LeAnn Rimes
LeAnn Rimes will be embarking on her “The Story…So Far” tour through June this year. This sweet country singer has been performing for approximately three decades after rising to fame in 1996 with her debut album “Blue.”
Rimes will be traveling anywhere from Florida, to Ohio, to California- so make sure to get tickets to a show in your nearest city.
- Luke comb
Luke Combs is probably the most popular concerts to watch in 2022. Hailing from Asheville, North Carolina, Luke Combs took the country music scene by storm in 2015 with his hit single “Hurricane”. Her song “Beautiful Crazy” went to number one seven weeks on the country music charts in 2018 and later earned him a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
Combs are on the road from June to December. You can even buy meet and greet tickets to the show so you can say hi to Luke yourself!
- Turnpike Troubadour
The Turnpike Troubadours are an American country music band, initially from Tahlequah, Oklahoma. In 2015, their self-titled album debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band took a break in 2019, but got back together in 2021 to announce their comeback tour.
The band tours from June through October, making it the perfect summer outing. That Troubadour Turnpike Tickets will go fast, so make sure to grab it soon.
- Eli Young Band
Eli Young Band will be embarking on their “Love Talking” tour, which runs until August 26th. The band had no scarcity of success, charting eight times on the Billboard country music chart and releasing four number-one singles including “Crazy Girl,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” and “Drunk Last Night.”
They traveled to more than 50 cities from San Diego to Washington DC. If you live in Texas, you are in luck, as the band has made eight different stops in their home state.
- Stone Child
Slightly controversial, but at all times entertaining, Kid Rock is on his way to a “Bad Reputation” tour. Kid Rock brings a distinctive blend of rap, hip hop, rock and country to his shows. If you have never seen Kid Rock before, then this is a chance you should not miss.
The singer kicked off his tour on June 10 in West Palm Beach, Florida, and ended it on October 8 in Laughlin, Nevada.
- Kenny Chesney
If you want to see probably the greatest country music concerts of your life, take a look at Kenny Chesney’s “Here and Now” tour. Chesney started making music in Nashville in 1991 and has never looked back. He has recorded more than 20 albums and has produced more than 40 top 10 singles on the Billboard country music charts.
Chesney’s 2007 “Flip-Flop Summer” Tour was highest earning country tour that summer, and he was poised to beat that record. He has broken the record for the number of individuals in attendance for each concert at Nissan Stadium this year. Make sure you get tickets to this show, which runs until August 27.
- Zac Brown Band
The Grammy-winning Zac Brown Band kicks off this summer on their “Out in the Middle” tour. The Zac Brown Band has been making music since 2002 and has released an incredible seven studio albums. This is their ninth tour as a band, and they do not seem to be losing any momentum.
Their tour runs from June to November. Some shows are already sold out, so act fast if you want to attend.
- Marshall Tucker Band
The Marshall Tucker Band is a modern country-rock band from South Carolina. They are known for their unique blend of country, blues, rock and jazz. The band has been successful since 1972, which is an success in itself.
This tour celebrates the band’s 50th anniversary, so it is bound to be a special one. The tour started on June 4 in Laughlin, Nevada, and ended on November 19 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- Luke Brian
Luke Bryan will be performing his “Raised Right Up” tour from June 9 to October 28. Bryan shot to fame in 2007 with his album “I’ll Stay Me.” Since then, he has released 10 albums and had 27 number one hits. Many people also know him as one of the three judges american idol.
Luke Bryan is among the hottest tickets in town, with many of his tour dates already selling out. You can purchase normal tickets, or opt for the VIP package, which includes a spot in the first 20 rows and a pre-show performance from Luke.
- Carrie Underwood
Any Carrie Underwood show is bound to be probably the greatest country music shows of 2022. Underwood got her start american idol in 2005 and it hasn’t slowed down since. Her debut album “Some Hearts” is the best-selling solo female debut album in country music history.
Carrie played a few shows over the summer before embarking on her “Denim & Rhinestones” tour in October. This tour runs until March 2023.
