50th Anniversary Show for RALPH LAUREN
Hair Leader : Redken Global Creative Director Guido Palau
Inspiration: “Ralph’s luxe and classic with ease,” Palau says of his inspiration.
How-To: Start with clean, freshly dried hair. Apply heat protect styling polish to the hair dryer and cover hair on dry hair in 1” sections. Once your hair is totally dry and funky, run your fingers through it to feel snug.
TORY BURCH
Hair Lead: Guido Palau
Inspiration: “The Tory girl is confident. He is a little downtown and a little downtown. Palau said.
How-To: Start with clean, dry hair. Use a wide-toothed comb to brush back the hair around the crown and towards the back of the head. Moving in 1” sections, apply a quarter-sized amount of volumizing mousse to the crown of the head and shape with a wide-toothed comb, leaving baby hair loose. Then pin your hair tightly around your ears to hold the look and let them dry. Once the hair is dry, run the hair dryer over the style and remove the pins. Using your fingers, smooth the baby’s hair around the hairline for a softer look.
RACHEL ZOE
Hair Lead: Senior Design Team Director Nanci Lee Rudolph and Executive Artistic Director Dawelle Keasling
Inspiration: Using extensions creates a soft, natural, and vibrant look to emphasize the Zoe collection.
How-To: Part hair below the occipital bone and use a finger brush to part hair 1” from hairline and 1/4-1/2” from scalp and apply Great Lengths Style Tab Tape -In Extensions in a brick lay pattern. After blending the extensions, create a loose 3-strand braid organically around the head. Using an iron, apply light pressure in a tapping motion from the top of the braid down. After the braid has cooled, separate it with your fingers. To complete the look, add a detailed braid on one side of the head.
Sherry Hill
Hair Leader: Tammy Mixon , global artist CHI

VERONIKA’S BEARD
Hair Lead: Moroccanoil Artistic Director Kevin Hughes
Inspiration: “A trendy, modern young woman went on an exotic island vacation, and now she’s back in the concrete jungle and still has her holiday glow.”
he said. It complements the clothing design perfectly, and contributes to the designer’s story of a confident and robust woman.
How-To: Use curl control mousse to add direction and hold the top of the hair for a fake wet look. Use your fingers and a wide-toothed comb to make striations in your hair. This will enable the lift at the top.
CHOCHENG
Hair Lead: Danillo
Inspiration: “It’s all about simple silhouettes,” says Danillo. It’s a pretty simple look and quite inspired by Elizabeth Taylor but with a modern twist.
How-To: Pull hair back into a tight ponytail for added lift, and place a dark hairpiece on top of the head. Hairpieces haven’t got to match your natural hair color, this look is finished deliberately to help modernize it and keep it from looking formal. Smooth out baby’s hair with a mascara wand. When finished add a woven headband to cover between the natural hair and the headdress.

Hair Leader: Frank Rizzieri
Inspiration: “It’s not about going to a bar and picking something off a menu. Having girls who look precisely the same goes totally against the brand’s message, says TIBI designer Amy Smilovic.
How-To: This is very DIY hair, so imperfectly straight hair with bobby pins distributed randomly along the length of the hair. Use texturizing products to give your hair a little bit of grip.
NICOLE MILLER
Hair Leader: Oribe Director of Training and Content Kien Hoang
Inspiration: “Girls come and go from the nightclubs” says Hoang. “ A little bit about how Brooke Shields from the 80s does her hair. It bounces and is a little more maintenance free.
How-To: The look is curly with a grainy texture. To achieve this look, use a heating stick in a horizontal direction and make a figure 8 in the unstructured manor. After that, flip your hair up and to the side to add volume. Use Oribe’s Mystify, a heat-resistant styling spray to help develop this look!

How-To: Use a flatiron to accomplish a silky texture for a subtle ’90s-inspired look.
STRADA COLLINE
Hair Lead: Training & Content Director Oribe Kien Hoang
Inspiration: To replicate the seven-colored chakra, Hoang mixed the free-spirited Summer camp vibe and re-created the tie-dye effect in hair using brightly coloured wefts.
How-To: Prep hair with Oribe Foundation Mist and Restyling Spray before adding soft braids and pinning each braid in a figure 8 pattern. Then remove the braids and gently iron hair, pinning lightly in each section. Finally add the previously prepared feed to the head and finish with Oribe Swept Up Volume Powder Spray.
THE BLOND
Hair Leader: Oribe Director of Training and Content Kien Hoang
Inspiration: Inspired by Disney Villains, Hoang appealed to the models and villains he imitated by creating a classic ponytail with bright ends that matched each villager’s signature color.
How-To: After prepping hair with Maximista Thickening Spray, style hair into a high pony and smooth with Star Glow Styling wax. Then smooth out the ponytail in small sections for an excellent slick look before applying coloured hair extensions and cutting off thick layers with a razor.
