I have a confession: I’m kinda obsessed with Drake.
With his romantic lyrics that glorify the ladies in his life, his funny/relatable personality and plenty of other reasons, Drizzy continues to make it easier and easier to want to be his woman. Take a minute and imagine what it would be like to spend your day and night in Toronto making lovely and romantic memories.
I know what you are thinking: “Perhaps not the best decision to date a highly emotional artist who is skilled at turning the deepest secrets of his relationships into song lyrics and hit singles.” I completely thought about it too but still, if being romantically involved with Aubrey Graham went wrong, why would anyone want to be right?
Here are 7 reasons that will absolutely convince you, if you are not sure already, why Drake makes the best boyfriend.
He is sensitive, emotional, and a hopeless romantic:
All women Love a man who listens. But more importantly, we all love a man who tells us precisely how he feels and isn’t shy about showing us off, telling his son he’s in love and proud, and absolutely telling his family how much we mean to him. Drake is a prime example of an emotional romantic who is willing to go above and beyond to show his wife that he loves her and is pleased with her.
He will defend/protect you:
While Drake’s name is not one that’s continually in the tabloids for outrageous acts every weekend, he is also not utterly shy of controversy. Remember back in 2012 when he and Chris Brown battled it out in a nightclub in NYC? Yep, that’s over with the gossip at the time, Rihanna. So even although Drake is sensitive and delicate, he can even handle it himself since he wasn’t hurt and Brown was injured in the fight. “I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges me, I’m not going to back down,” Drake added in a 2012 interview when he opened up about the fight.
Who does not love a man who can make a lady feel safe?
He liked kids, and they loved him back:
Drake all the time blesses his Instagram followers with cute photos of him and his beautiful OVO crew kids, and we’re loving every moment of it. I’m just guessing here, but judging by the big smiles and hugs they give back, the children love him as much as he loves them. So let’s be real here, Drake is essentially going to be the best dad of all time.
He loves a lady who dresses up:
“A devil with a girl in tight clothes you’re a murderer, and nothing more real.” We all remember this little verse that Drake personally sang to each of us Like, where she assures us of how lovely we look in our dresses and high heels. I do not think there’s much more left to say here aside from, work on the girls, wear those clothes and be confident every time – Drake is watching.
He also loves a lady who can relax in her hair up, sweatpants and no make-up:
I believe one thing girls look forward to is more than dressing up, not dressing up. We all need those days sometimes where we lie on the sofa, barely combing our hair and wearing sweatpants that are too big for us until we are actually forced to change; essentially we look like a man. But having someone by your side who sees you at your most vulnerable (aka ugly), yet still sees you lovely and angelic; well it is just real love and Drake is a no-makeup sucker and a big pair of sweats. So it is a win-win situation here, ladies.
He loves his family:
In virtually every song, music video or interview we hear/see how much Drake is lovesssssss her family and how she enjoys taking care of them even although “there’s no envelope to open, she does it because it’s meant to be.” If family is important to you, this man is your future husband. Chances are he will love your family too! Then you can become one big happy family and even have a family of your own, you know because he loves kids and all. They can be yours Cup, Cup…
He hates sleeping alone:

Ha, completely kidding there’s more! We’re all possibly not the “snuggle so close until we fall asleep” type. Many people still like to cuddle with their loved one, but prefer to cuddle for a while and then fall asleep on their own side of the bed, because knowing the one you love is right next to you while you sleep is among the best feelings. ever, you look forward to waking up next to them. And as Drake said earlier, “I hate sleeping alone, I hate sleeping alone.”
So whether Drake’s next girlfriend is me, you, or some other woman (or me), his lady-to-be (aka me) is bound to be a lucky girl. With all the amazing properties listed above plus many, many morewhat could go wrong?
