Chez Bruce
This understated restaurant forgoes grand interiors, with founder Bruce Poole eschewing media opportunities to focus on what really matters – the food. Seasonal produce and traditional cuisine are the essence of Chez Bruce French and Mediterranean influenced menu. Everything from their homemade charcuterie to bread making is their ‘specialty’.
The doors of Chez Bruce first opened in 1995, with the goal of providing high-quality food and drink, in a more informal and down-to-earth setting. Located right next to the Wandsworth Common tube stop, Chez Bruce is easily accessible by train or bus.
Dining Room at Goring
Favorite of Queen and Kate Middleton, The Dining Room is located within the beautiful Edwardian Hotel (The Goring), with food as lovely as the chandelier-decorated decor. Executive Chef Richard Galli oversees British food pride, his ingredients sourced from all over the British Isles. Among royal-approved dishes, you might find seasonal dishes like Cornish wild Halibut, or Rhug estate lamb.
The Dining Room goes beyond candlelit dinners, as their offerings include a full breakfast and afternoon tea menu. Finish off your meal with an old favorite, or try something unique, at their cocktail bar.
Dinner by Heston Blumenthal
Some might describe Heston as both a scientist and a chef, with his reputation for startling but lovely gastronomic ‘experiments’, from crab ice cream to massive KitKats. ‘Dinner‘ was born out of Heston’s passion for historic gastronomy, from savory ice cream in the late 1800’s to the dishes described in CS Lewis’ beloved tale, ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
With chef Ashley Palmer-Watts, Heston created a menu that transforms these historic culinary delights into a very modern dining experience. This contemporary and innovative approach has earned the restaurant two Michelin stars to date, not to mention dozens of other awards.
Restaurant by Gordon Ramsay
Gordon Ramsay’s reputation as a no-nonsense TV personality preceded him, from guiding the wayward restaurateur on the right path. Kitchen Nightmare to put the country’s best cooks through their paces Hell’s Kitchen. By eating at’Restaurant’ You can travel back in time to where it all began for the famous chef – this is Gordon’s first restaurant, which he founded in 1998, at the age of 31.
Its ultimate goal, to combine an intimate setting (seating only 45 guests) with fine French cuisine, remains the main focus of the restaurant today.
