Another luxury hotel in the heart of Manhattan, The St. The New York St. Regis will set you back around $650 per night. For that money, you are only four blocks from Central Park, in addition to within walking distance of Trump Tower, the Museum of Modern Art, Top of the Rock, and Rockefeller Center.
All rooms are styled with Beaux-Arts details with plush furnishings, Bose sound systems and fast internet.
Chatwal
Chatwal is located in the Theater District, two blocks from Times Square. This is a terrific hotel for access to other parts of the city, with five subway stations located nearby. Central Park is still only a 15 minute walk away.
The rooms are Art Deco in style, giving The Chatwal a complicated, boutique feel. They feel much more modern than the St. Regis and Plaza, with more straight lines, and fewer gold.
Nothing white on the scale of Plaza, The Chatwal has a lot to offer. There is a swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room, in addition to a fitness center, restaurant and bar.
Arlo NoMad
If you are searching for something a little cheaper, the Arlo NoMad is a micro-hotel on 31st street, between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue. The rooms are much smaller than in other hotels, but have lots of communal space and are centrally located. This makes it perfect for people who just want a “place to stay” while they explore New York City.
Even although there are still many amenities. Guests are given free admission to the New York Sports Club, which is just five blocks away. There’s a bar and restaurant, in addition to communal table spaces that have a coworking feel.
The price is about half of most others, but you will still get everything you need from the Arlo NoMad.
