Great Place to Eat, Drink & Be Happy!

I had the opportunity to speak with Eddie Fahmy, owner of A2Z Consulting and spokesperson for Bethpage Burger Bar, Long Island’s newest buzz. The Bethpage Burger Bar is a family-friendly restaurant serving a wide range of burgers, comfort food and vegetarian dishes, something for everybody! Their goal is to make everybody feel welcome, provide friendly service, and serve great food and drink in a safe environment. Eddie and Chef David also pay attention to safety protocols and installing the latest technology point of sales system with each table having its own QR code so customers can order and pay for their food directly from their own mobile.

I was surprised to learn that Bethpage Burger Bar was open during the pandemic. “Yes, we want to create jobs for the people who worked for us in the past in addition to those who need them. We also know that with all our safety protocols together with our delicious food and affordable prices, people will keep coming back.” I’m interested in how they came up with the restaurant’s idea and menu. “The team wanted a simple concept that would suit the design and layout of the venue, so I teamed up with Chef David. We know that everyone loves staple foods; namely burgers, sandwiches, chicken wings, shakes, etc, so the menu items developed from there. We also design party rooms to host children’s parties and events with affordable packages to suit all budgets.”

Eddie and that I were discussing his favourite items on the menu in addition to the upcoming holidays. “That’s a tough question because I co-design the menu so most of the items are my favorites but I will say, our burgers were absolutely fantastic and the milk shakes with Chonky Cookies were heavenly! With the holidays approaching, we’ll be offering a special Thanksgiving Turkey Burger and Turkey Club sandwich. During December, we’ll be serving Channukah and Christmas themed milkshakes with toppings Chonky Cake. Everything is so delicious!” Personally, I’m vegan and it is nice to know that there are vegetarian options on the menu. “Eating vegetarian is the latest food trend and we are listening to society. More and more people are eating healthy, so we want to provide healthier choices.” That alone is a reason to expand all over New York and if the opportunity presents itself, they’re all in!

I had to ask Eddie who he would like to see eating at the Bethpage Burger Bar and without hesitation he replied, “I want to see everyone in the community eating at our place and if you see Billy Joel, the Baldwin brothers or Julianne Moore, invite them too! ” If I see them, I will absolutely see them. Eddie talks about how family and friends get together and share their day over meals. He also talks about giving back to the community, which is at the core of their core values. “We offer free meals for first responders Monday – Wednesday and support local non-profits and food insecure organizations.”

Needless to say, I can not wait to sink my teeth into one of their delicious vegan burgers and wash it down with a milk shake topped with Chonky Cookies! Great place to eat, drink and be merry!
