Tell us a little about your background. Where are you from?
I’m 24 years old. I grew up in Calabasas, Ca. I went to San Diego State University for a few years and studied pre-med, then got involved in entrepreneurship in business. I finished up dropping out of college my freshman year and things just took off after that. I grew up in a family where my dad worked 12 hour days not because he needed to but because he loved it, so I’ve at all times glorified that type of entrepreneurship and success. So, throughout college I was at all times one of those guys who wanted to start projects and do whatever I could to make money on the side. I built a sales organization at the age of 20 that generates nearly $2 million per month in worldwide sales in over 50 countries. So, I finished up dropping out of school and that I was able to travel around the globe and do the things I wanted to do and that was because, not that I was smarter, but because of a bigger and larger mindset of thinking. dream bigger which is an extension of the current brand.
What did you do before starting this brand?
I’m really just a fraud. I will at all times do what I can to make ends meet. I’ve never really had a conventional job. I’ve at all times been an entrepreneur, selling things from player cards to Xbox and PlayStation.
What inspired you to create this brand?
I believe there’s something unique going on with the younger demographic, the millennial generation. They do not want to live a 9 to 5 lifestyle, they want to be their own boss and work their own time. Many people say that millennials are lazy, but I believe that’s wrong. We grew up watching our parents do traditional business jobs and folks now glorify being entrepreneurs because they’re the ones who do what they want to do, and take the road less traveled.
How was the name Co-Ideal created for this brand?
Name Co. Ideal was found because we wanted to build a brand around people who follow their ideal lifestyle. We do not want to close it only to entrepreneurs and business people. But people who have a vision of what they want in their life and put it into reality.
What is the overall brand message?
To live your dreams and do what will make you the happiest you. Take the road less traveled and step outside the box of the traditional ideal lifestyle that is anticipated of you. Dream big and hustle until you reach your goal.
Where do you plan to take this brand?
-Short term goals 1-5 years
I want to brand some small boutiques just to get them out there.
-Long term goals of 5 years and above
The company’s long-term goal is to create a community that will act as a catalyst for the growth of every individual by instilling a culture of empowering behavior.
What motivates you professionally? How do you maintain a go-getter mindset every day?
Going out and doing things that people think I can not do.
What do you want people to remember you for?
That being an entrepreneur is not as easy as it seems, there’s quite a lot of busyness and quite a lot of things going on like challenges and obstacles that take you to a place of glory. I want people to understand the dark side of entrepreneurship too. I want to be remembered as someone who got what I had and not just someone who had something.
What’s in your cabinet? What is your favourite brand that you wear?
I like to wear Nike-like things on a normal day, and for business wear I’d wear something like Ralph Lauren. I sometimes wear some high-end brands too.
Do you care about the entertainers wearing or endorsing your brand? If so, which celebrity would you like to see in your designs?
I wanted to work with Ashton Kutcher because he’s known to advocate for the younger generation and help them make a name for themselves with the help of his influence.
