Glamping is a glamourized camping experience combined with amenities that are quite the opposite of the traditional camping setting. It’s a recreation of raw nature met with luxurious comfort. Condition glamping was recently recognized by the Oxford English Dictionary in 2016, but the idea of living in a snug tent is recorded up to 16th century.
The perfect setting when you cannot leave the comforts of civilization but still want to indulge in the moonlight and twinkling stars. According to a report, every year a further 1 million US families have started camping since 2014. Camping is on the rise with Millennials being the main driving force of the increase. Growing up with technologies like the internet, the availability of technology encourages them to stay longer in campgrounds.
You may be scheduled for a glamping trip this weekend, and are currently planning to make some awesome stuff for everybody. But how do you go a few glamping trip? What are the tips for making a camping trip as luxurious as possible?
Tent
After choosing a pretty campsite, you need to set up your tent. Choosing a quality tent makes a big difference in comfort and ambiance. It must be stable and robust. You’ll be staying here for a few days, so it is important that it is sturdy enough to resist the outside environment. Complete your tent with some fairy lights to add to the atmosphere and make it look magical. You can even light your way with tent stake lights or LED garden lights to your tent to stop trespassing others. Invest in a solar-powered light to avoid relying too heavily on power cords that can get messy.
Kitchen
One of the main activities in camping is cooking and eating. The party brings everybody together after some outdoor activities. Bring a large plastic tub to make food storage neat. Bring light pots and pans and a quality outdoor burner for straightforward cooking. Bring enamel cutlery for an elegant touch when dining at camp. If you have enough space in your pocket, it is worth investing in a compact foldable kitchen. It’s easy to set up in the campground, adds additional storage, and makes room for meals. Bring some wine to make your dinner under the stars even more extravagant.
Clothes
It would not be glamping if you did not incorporate any style, glitz and fashion into this outdoor activity. Don’t be afraid to wear fashionable clothes during glamping. Make sure they’re made of quality materials to protect you from the outside environment and are snug enough to make you feel snug. Your clothing style depends on where you’ll be camping. For example, if you are going to be dessert camping then wear something that will keep you cool in the morning and warm at night.
Was sleeping
Indulge in your sleep needs and choose optimal comfort in terms of bed. Feel free to take advantage of soft plush blankets, pillows and duvets. There’s no such thing as too many pillows. I suggest bringing a little home to make you feel more snug at bedtime. Buy an inflatable mattress or bed. It’s also a good idea to invest in CO2 and a fire alarm monitor to provide you with a sense of security while sleeping in the wilderness.
First aid
Accidents can occur at any time and the likelihood is higher in rough, raw and activity-filled environments like campsites. It is important to be prepared for any emergency and have a first aid kit with you. Put one in your hiking bag and one in your base camp. Your first aid kit may include waterproof plasters, rehydration sachets, medication tablets, wet wipes, rubbing alcohol, insect repellant, and muscle rub.
