Philosophy:

I first discovered Everlane in Instagramand was captivated by the brand’s slick, minimalistic and charming design of a pair of shoes, in addition to the poetically alluring name, “Everlane”.

After visiting it website, I soon learned that the company had a deeper purpose. Everlane, a name that is sort of three years old, is a fashion company that’s doing it differently and has a new perspective on considering consumers. They challenged fashion’s current situation as an online-only company. By selling directly from their website to you, shipping, packaging and maintaining the physical store costs are eliminated. This means less spending on the customer and an overall more economical buying philosophy when compared to traditional retailers.

Everlane website states, “Know your factory. Know your costs. Always asking why.” Their brand grew from the idea that shoppers should notified, and pushed to learn, about everything they buy, and they provide typical retailer prices in addition to the reduced prices of their items.

Clothes:

Described as “luxurious basics,” Everlane offers quality tops, sweaters, jackets, backpacks and totes, scarves, and leather goods using materials such as Italian leather, Chinese cashmere, silk, Merino wool, and light cotton. Exploring their basics and accessories, Everlane seems fit for the modern girl content by going beyond trends; she cares about style but also the longevity of her clothes. Friends, I would not be surprised if you flocked here either — dressed so easy yet fashionable and so snug, I have a feeling you are impressed.

Recommendation:

If you are anything like me, you are less into plain shirts or sweaters and more into Everlane clothing strappy sandalsshoes, bags and wallet. Look Crossbody Petra brown/navy nautical color bag or Modern Shoes in earthy olives. If you insist on classics, warm up to them cashmere sweaters for fall (“Spice” is charming), or my personal favorite, the Silk Pocket shirt in Red Clay.
