Are most of your mornings spent running out the door with breakfast in hand, and applying makeup on the move? It’s easy to snooze, and rush to work – but establishing a routine that gives you a restful, efficient morning can make you feel more ready to take on the day. If you have not nailed it yet, do not worry.
To celebrate the similarities and differences in women’s routines, the team at Carefree offers up a few tips to make mornings easier.
Rise and shine.
Do you hit the snooze button too often? Avoid being late again. Place your alarm so far out of reach that you must get out of bed to turn it off. If you use your phone to wake you up, consider setting an alarm tone to the song that’s bothering you — you’d be happy to roll out of bed to stop it!
You may not have time for a full workout in the morning, but moving around a bit when you get out of bed can get your blood flowing, help wake you up, and rev up your metabolism. Start the day with some stretching and body weight exercises, such as lunges and planks.
Spirit.
Cheer up with a morning ritual that activates your mind. Enjoy a cup of coffee or green tea together with a brain teaser, Sodoku or crossword puzzle. Or spend time writing journal entries, scanning the morning’s headlines, or reading a chapter of a book. Taking a few moments to warm your mind can promote greater productivity throughout the day.
Remove the head of the bed.
You can shave many minutes off your morning routine by styling your hair the night before. After washing and conditioning your locks, leave your hair in a bun or pin it while sleeping. In the morning, undo the up-do and use a light spray before heading out.
Makeup magic.
When there is no time for a full morning makeover, stick to the basics. Start with a moisturizer with SPF so you can protect your skin and keep it hydrated. Use concealer under the eyes to easily remove signs of fatigue. If you do need to streamline your full eye makeup routine, do not neglect a fast coat of mascara, which can help you look wider and more awake with a few seconds of effort. Finally, give shine to the lips and protect them from chapped lips with a lip balm that should contain SPF.
Free to Be You.
Feminine care is one element of routine that connects all women. It’s a part of life, and as we all know – it cannot at all times be predicted. “March!” every morning with Carefree Acti-Fresh liner, which is soft, sheer, and absorbent enough to be invisible, helping you feel confident as you go about your day. It’s easy to incorporate them into your daily regimen by keeping them in your underwear drawer—you will never forget to give yourself another layer of protection.
