TOMS, the One for One company, has partnered with ZEISS, the world leader in optics, to create a bespoke collection of eyewear that appeals to all of us with an adventurous spirit.
Inspired by a shared love of innovation, discovery and helping the world to see, the Inventor Collection featuring premium ZEISS polarized sunglasses in a classy and enduring acetate frame. This collection of premium eyewear provides a vision-aware experience for the wearer, with purchase, in turn, helping restore vision for people in need by funding eye exams, prescription glasses, vision-saving surgery and medical care.
Inventor Collection consists of eight different styles for men and girls, in a wide range of classic and fashion-forward silhouettes. The collection also features polarized lenses, which remove undesirable glare from reflective surfaces for safe and relaxed viewing, UVA/UVB protection and RI-PEL TECHNOLOGY which acts as a water and oil repellent, making the lenses highly resistant to fingerprints and smudges.
The first partnership between the two companies occurred after TOMS’ tour toParaguay. There, the TOMS eyewear team discovered that almost all of the clinical equipment used by their vision partners was donated by ZEISS. Recognizing their shared interest in creating high-performance sun suits and making vision care more accessible, the two companies partnered to accomplish both.
