Before there Kim Kardashian, there was someone way more important, a socialite in her own right. A diva, a trendsetter, a lady who has never hated a man so much as to give her (her) diamond back, this Hungarian-born actress and socialite understands the charms of life better than anyone before or since.
I’m a superb housekeeper. Whenever I leave a man, I take care of his house.
Known for her unapologetic love of luxury and glamorous sense of style, this larger-than-life personality performs all his vices with such charming grace and dominance that even his greatest whims aren’t only tolerated but adored with devotion and awe. During her 99 years, men adored her, women envied her and she lived as if there were no worries in the world. And apparently, she never fails to speak her mind — particularly in terms of love, marriage, men, and life as a celebrity.
Yes, you guessed it – that woman is Zsa Zsa Gabor.
How many husbands do I have? You mean aside from my own?
Strikingly lovely, Gabor spent 60 years in Hollywood, arranged nine (happy) marriages and a husband who for the most part adored the ground he walked on. In her biography, Zsa Zsa says she’s proposed to all her husbands and she truly believes (as she likes to say) that – for a smart girl, men aren’t a problem – that is the answer.
Zsa Zsa’s Jewish mother, Jolie Gábor (whose fortune is related to a brothel in Budapest, Hungary) provided a boarding school education for her daughters which provided them with an education in many areas, including languages. Zsa Zsa spoke Hungarian and German at home and learned English and French while attending Madame Subilia’s School for Young Girls in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Zsa Zsa (a nickname since childhood) was very young when she expressed her free spirit and desire for adventure. While on leave from school in 1934, the then black-haired Zsa Zsa met Burhan Belge, the visiting Turkish Foreign Ministry Press Director, who later became her first husband. At that time, Burhan was a man who had been divorced twice and was only 17 years old. As stated in his biography, the two lived together without consummating the marriage (his wish, not his wish).
Zsa Zsa is a girl who gets bored quickly and moves on; the same goes for her and her husband’s life decisions and her marriage.
With World War II was raging in Europe, unhappy with his marriage, Zsa Zsa left Europe and arrived in New York mid-1941, leaving Burhan Belge in Ankara, Turkey. It’s just a husband after all… is not it? From then on, the doors of Zsa Zsa’s marriage opened and she would meet the love of her life who would help celebrate her name, provide emotional satisfaction and help her gain more than a solid bank account.
Zsa Zsa’s perhaps most significant husband of all is a 54-year-old devout Roman Catholic and hotelier Conrad Hilton Sr. (yes, THAT Hilton) whom she met at the age of 24. -sights (are we sure?), they married only a few months after first meeting but then divorced soon after. Apparently, Zsa Zsa describes being “shocked to have separate bedrooms, and Conrad locks her door for her” while the thrifty Conrad Hilton explains in his autobiography that “Zsa Zsa is very glamorous. She also knows more days on which gifts can be given than the calendar suggests.” any vacation.
The two have a daughter, Constance Francesca Hilton whom Zsa Zsa claims was born as the result of rape by her estranged husband, Conrad Hilton Sr. Constance, in fact, is his daughter.
And there you go.
From then on, she went through husband like a diet-conscious girl would through chocolate — with a slight addiction to the taste but careful not to eat (too) much of it.
After having an affair with Conrad’s son, Conrad “Nicky” Hilton Jr. Zsa Zsa later married actor George Sanders, had an affair with a Dominican diplomat, polo player, rumored to be a spy and a playboy Porfirio Rubirosa and is related to millionaire builders Hal Hays and Ramfis Trujillo. After that, she married and divorced financier Herbert Hutner and then, for the fifth time, married oil millionaire Joshua S. Cosden Jr.
It seems that almost all of Zsa Zsa’s relationships were super sensational ones that led to disappointment which, unlike Marilyn Monroe, Zsa Zsa never took to heart. Our girl, on the other hand, will all the time find her way, scoffing at anything that gets in her way to true emotion. I want a man who is kind and understanding. Is that too much to ask of a millionaire?
Even after her marriage to Joshua S. Cosden Jr. having failed (together with Zsa Zsa’s underdeveloped acting career), she Marital career is still running fast. Gábor married another millionaire named Jack Ryan and divorced a year later. Attorney Michael O’Hara was her husband lucky number seven in 1977 and, unlike her previous brief marriages, this one managed to stick around for a while. The couple didn’t divorce until 1983.
Before her divorce from O’Hara was finalized, Zsa Zsa married Mexican Felipe de Alba at sea on April 13, 1983. This was her eighth marriage but it was annulled the next day, on April 14, 1983. Why? Gábor claims that “He bored me. He’s a playboy and I’m a hard-working actress.”
At this time, a really young looking senior citizen is planning yet one more failed marriage, however – that does not stop him. In 1986, Gábor married Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt (born Hans Georg Robert Lichtenberg in 1943) who was 25 years Gábor’s junior. Here it’s 8th legal marriage.
By her final days, Zsa Zsa’s motto appears to have changed: A girl should marry for love, and stay married until she finds one. We hear you, Gabor… we hear you!
I pay all my bills myself… I want to choose that man. I do not allow men to choose me.
While Zsa Zsa Gabor fancies herself as a serious actress, she really is – she’s more famous for being famous than for her roles. Knowing the right people in the right circles, however, Gabor did star in a few TV shows and landed a few movie roles, starting with the 1952 MGM musical “Lovely to Look at.” He also appeared in the Fox comedy “We’re Not Married”. Her biggest role so far is opposite Jose Ferrer in “Moulin Rouge”.
Gabor played a supporting role throughout the 1950’s in films such as “Lili” and “Death of a Scoundrel.”
He had many guest roles on shows such as “The Dick Powell Theatre”, “Bonanza”, “Gilligan’s Island”, “Bob’s Hope Show”, “Facts of Life”, “The Love Boat” and “The Fresh Prince”. from Bel-Air.”
In the 1960s he played largely alone on shows such as “The Joey Bishop Show” and “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In” to comedies such as “The Beverly Hillbillies”, “My Three Sons”, and “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show .” He also made cameo appearances in the 1967 film “Jack of Diamonds” and 1991’s “The Naked Gun 2 ½: The Smell of Fear”.
In his entrepreneurial spirit, even as a senior citizen, Gabor is not ready to quit. He released his “very low-impact exercise video It’s Simple Darling in 1993, notable more for its humor than for the merits of the sport”. We love it.
Gabor has also been a frequent guest on shows such as “Late Night With David Letterman”, “The Tonight Show” with hosts Jack Paar and Johnny Carson, “The Mike Douglas Show”, “The Merv Griffin Show”, “The Rosie The O’Donnell Show” and “The Ruby Candle Show.” With her dazzling exotic accent and seductive voice, Gabor is a game changer that only everybody can relate to.

Jealous of gorgeous women won’t make you prettier.
Gabor was a captivating, very lovely woman with an incredible physique and a really specific sense of beauty and style. In fact, she was so self-aware that she and her last husband continued to experience cosmetic surgery and sweetness treatments well into their seventies. When experts from major beauty clinics such as Medaesthetics and other centers where celebrity-approved would never conform to perform procedures on seniors (because they’re so risky), we have a feeling Zsa Zsa might have a way of luring them into letting her have her way.
Was he right when he observed that men love with their eyes and girls with their ears? Most likely.

I do not remember anyone’s name. How do you think the ‘dahling’ thing started?
Calling everybody “honey,” coming out with “dah-link” is one of Gabor’s trademarks; other than being known for her accented English, her eccentric name, behind-the-scenes antics and one-liners on her jewellery, men, marriage, beauty and love – Zsa Zsa Gabor has all the time been the girl you could not stand but all the time wanted to be. , or part of its inner circle.
May your soul rest in peace Zsa Zsa, you’ll be missed.
