EcoTools Beauty Team members and expert stylists Christine Symonds and Teni Panosian have created the complete vacation make-up look that, in only a few easy steps, will make your style playful and bright for any occasion.
“This time of year there’s certainly no shortage of seasonal celebrations, and classic makeup looks are always a crowd pleaser,” says Panosian, YouTube beauty star and the voice behind MissMaven.com. “Using the tools from three limited edition EcoTools holiday kits, it’s easy to achieve the perfect, festive look.”
Step 1. Using the Skin Perfecting Brush from the Four-Piece Beautiful Complexion Set, apply your favourite foundation.
Step 2. Take the Precision Foundation Brush from the Festive & Flawless Face Set, apply concealer under the eyes and around the mouth. Also apply a small amount to the center of your forehead to lighten and tone it up.
Step 3. Also from the Festive & Flawless Face Set, take the Buffing Concealer Brush and blend the concealer using small circular motions for a perfectly even base.
Step 4. Back in the Four-Piece Beautiful Complexion Set, grab a Mattifying Finish Brush and a matte bronzer to give your skin a little bit of warmth. Apply bronzer to the hollows of your cheeks, along your jawline and down your hairline.
Step 5. Using the same brush, sweep a soft, neutral pink blush onto your cheeks for a naturally rosy look. Then, set your makeup by applying translucent powder using the Full Powder Brush from Festive & Flawless Face Set.
Step 6. To add a healthy glow, use the same Festive & Flawless Face Set’s Complexion Blending Brush and apply your favourite powder highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones, brow bones, and above the arches of your brows.
Step 7. For the eyes, take the Angled Eyeliner Brush from the Mini Essentials Holiday Set and begin applying the black gel eyeliner on the inner corners of your eyes, slowly working your way to the outer corners. On the outer corners, make wings of the desired thickness and fill them.
Step 8. To complete the eye look, apply several coats of your favourite mascara to the upper and lower lashes.
Step 9. Moving on to lips, apply a bright red matte lip color. Beauty tip: To clean the edges of your lipstick, use a concealer brush to apply a small amount of concealer to the edges of your lips, creating clean, fresh edges. Then blend the concealer outwards and you are done!
