Makeup has the power to change not only a person’s appearance, but also their self-confidence. There are so many other ways to apply makeup. Between liquids, powders, glosses, glosses, creams, and stains, it is hard to decide how to apply all of them properly. Fortunately, there are professionals who can help you look great every day of the week. Here are some makeup application tips and tricks you will want your makeup artist to know about.
Tame your brows the easy way
If you have been gifted with big, full eyebrows but do not understand how to tame them, remove them eyebrow gel! There’s no need for fancy concoctions when all you need is hairspray and a clean spoolie brush. You simply take a clean spoolie, such as an old mascara wand, spray it liberally with hairspray, and brush hair briefly strokes. Then brush your hair into place, and you will look put together in 30 seconds.
Add bronzer to your eyes for pop
Bronzer does not just must be used on the cheeks! For some, this is the perfect brown to offer a natural wash of color to their eyes. And particularly, if you are thinking of building a full face with slanted eyeliner but want to keep your eyes bare, stick with your bronzer. A fast swipe of bronzer in your crease will help open up your eyes and make them appear larger.
Use eyelash glue for glitter and gems
If you want a little bling out, look no further than you eyelash extension glue! This glue is not only great for your lashes, it also acts as an adhesive for putting jewellery in the inner corners of or under your eyes. You might think that you must use a harder craft glue to keep the glitter and jewellery on your skin, but eyelash glue works just as well and is less complicated to remove than other options. But watch out, because eyelash glue can look sticky under the glitter if not applied properly. Use a brush to paint over it in very light layers, and work sparingly for best results.
Set the primer with loose powder
This may go against everything you’d initially consider how powders and liquids interact with one another, but this trick really works! After you apply a thin layer primary, to actually make it work and stick to your foundation, tap on a translucent powder, then go ahead and apply your foundation. When you do this, the powder holds the primer in place, ensuring it does not slide around so it can hold the foundation.
Use tape
Key for a perfect winged eyeliner and the sharp eye shadow is really a trick that requires the use of masking tape. Simply angle the tape from the corner of your lashes to the very edge of your brow, apply eyeshadow and liner, and gently peel off the tape. No need to have a gradual hand when you can have any roll of tape you want.
Use eye drops to minimise redness
If you suffer from red, blotchy skin or large pimples that are about to pop, reach for some over-the-counter eye drops. It’s meant to take the redness out of your eyes, so why not work it on your skin? Clap before primer for best results. This trick also works on dark circles caused by burst blood vessels under the eyes. A drop or two should work, although bear in mind, it will not work as well if your dark circles are hereditary.
Keeping these easy makeup tips in mind, you will be doing makeup like a pro in no time. So experiment with the tips that work best for you, and you will put on that best face.
