THE YEAR IS 2065. IT HAS BEEN TEN YEARS SINCE THE WANTED PRE-CRIMINAL UNIT WAS DISPENSED, AND THE PRECOGS THAT EVER BEEN EXPLOITED (CORNER OF THE DASH, ARTHUR AND AGATHA BROTHERS) HAVE RETURNED THEIR INDEPENDENCE AND ARE FACED WITH THE HORRIBLE QUESTION OF WHETHER OR NOT THE MODERN SOCIETY THAT WERE EVER TO USE THEIR GIFTS TO PREDICT EVIL FOR THE GREATER GOOD. THIS IS WHERE THE OFFICIAL SEQUEL OF THE 2002 TOM CRUISE BLOCKBUSTER “MINORITY REPORT” SETS THE STAGE AND WILL BEGIN THIS SEPTEMBER ON FOX.
Considered a somewhat late bloomer (Regan’s first contact with the study of dramatic arts was not until the age of 21), it was a case of perfect coincidence that helped ignite her passion for acting. Regan initially wanted to be a professional dancer, but an unfortunate injury at the age of 16 shattered her dreams of performing. This creates an unquestionable thirst to find alternative platforms for achieving artistic expression. But it wasn’t until Regan attended university in Canada that he was first introduced to the beauty of the performing arts. “I admire those who know from the start what they want to do” says Regan “but it took me those extra years to become confident enough and get the courage to admit that acting is what I have to do in life”.
Having shown a deep affinity for interpreting dramatic characters throughout her career, Agatha’s fearsome legacy seems to make the duo a perfect match for Regan as actors. “Don’t get me wrong,” he explains, “I would love to take on more comedic roles, but I have to say that I am very attracted to darker and problematic characters. They allow me to feel emotions that I don’t experience in everyday life.” Agatha absolutely fits the profile. Having been uprooted from society from a really early age and having been placed in what can only be described as a catatonic state induced from naked consciousness, the indisputable fact that she and her two siblings are forced to live their lives submerged in a bath of photon milk inside the Pre-Unit The crime to exploit their magical gift of predicting the future must have given Agatha an incredible history to explore. The series will follow Agatha’s search for private redemption, examining her inner struggle between regaining control of her own destiny, and learning to trust humanity again. For those who want to find out if Agatha will decide to follow her siblings back into modern society and use her talents for the greater good, “Minority Report” is scheduled to premiere on FOX on September 21, 2015. Deciding to follow along is a sure thing. Only time will tell, but one thing is definite, Agatha has an agenda.”
