Timi Hayek

Viento y tierra, wind and earth, describes this collection in two words. There are not any colours, and no prints. Only layers of see-through pleats are juxtaposed against the rough-textured surface, all in distinct shades of off-white, flowing off the body. Drawing inspiration from dances and forest nymphs from my previous collections, in addition to my trips to Sri Lanka where school kids wore all-white uniforms to keep cool in the hot winds and were mainly barefoot, Viento y tierra primarily one-piece unique, made to be enjoyed in the sun or rain, with dancing feet and a free spirit.
