Most Wanted Man – an all-star cast, including the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Willem Dafoe, Rachel McAdams, and Daniel Bruhl are dropped in Germany, when an unknown man finds his way into the city’s Islamic community. This one will fly under the radar, but make sure to check it out.
Hercules – Dwayne Johnson hopes to revitalize an historical tale that failed miserably last year with Kellan Lutz. From the previews so far, I haven’t any idea. I believe in the guy, so maybe check it out?
August 1st
Son of God – The umpteenth head scratcher James Franco, follows a ruthless man who slowly loses all of humanity, descending into savage territory at breakneck speed.
guardian of the galaxy – Marvel’s last film of the summer looks like bad timing. Scary, strange and hilariously hilarious, this film finds a bunch of rag tags ready to save the world. Oh and Bradley Cooper voiced a talking raccoon.
August 8th
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Michael Bay brought us turtles and so far, the CGI is not great. I firmly believe in my childhood favourite, and that I want to believe in Bay. This is a new story twist, and we have an edgier April O’Neill, played by Megan Fox.
August 15th
The Expendables 3 – Stallone, Snipes, Statham and company bring us a third installment that’s even more fun and bloody. I do not care about the story. I mean who did it?
Ragnarok – a Viking ship with end times answers? I join. If you like Thor and Norway, this is an amazing little international thriller for the masses. Or few have seen it in Limited.
