Sunday, January 10 is a star-centric night with the 73rd annual Golden Globes event. All your favourite celebrities walked the red carpet from Kate Winslet to Will and Jada Smith. The dress is attractive and the tuxedo is stylish. These were the best and worst outfits of the night.
Best dressed:
- Jennifer Lawrence wore a fantastic long red dress from Dior. The side cut adds a special element to the dress. A silver statement necklace accentuates the dress perfectly.
- Lady Gaga gets glamorous for the Golden Globes. The loose curls and her sweet, off-the-shoulder cut of the dress came together for the perfect Old Hollywood Glam look.
- Corinne Bishop, daughter of Jamie Foxx, brought bohemian vibes to the red carpet with her robe. Silver lace details add extravagance to the entire ensemble.
- Kate Hudson showed off her incredible abs in a sparkling two-piece dress. Matching chokers and pumps tie the whole monochrome outfit together.
- Laverne Cox looks glamorous on the red carpet. The train on the white dress completes the 40s glam feel of the outfit.
Worst Dressed:
- Rooney Mara’s neutral dress blended well with her fair skin tone and made it look as if she had nothing on. The dress was very sheer and nearly see-through.
- Zoe Kazan’s dress is also neutral for her skin tone and hair color. The lines are very unflattering for their shape.
- Saoirse Ronan was wearing a fantastic white dress, but it swept her off her feet. A rather darker color might look better.
- Jamie Lee Curtis looked much older than he was in the Victorian robe. The floral details make it look even more old-fashioned. If the arm had a different style it would work better.
- Kate Bosworth has a lot going on with her. Not only is it glitter pink, but it has diamond detailing over the sparkles. It’s too much. Choose one or the other next time.
