Locals know Hampton Coffee as the best coffee in the Hamptons. With their fresh, super premium, plantation-grown specialty coffee roasted daily by hand, it is no wonder their coffee tastes so refreshing and delicious. Oh, and did I mention it is organic?
Hampton Coffee Company started in 1994, when there was only one Starbucks in all of Long Island. Jason, founding father of Hampton Coffee Company, tells us when they opened, most people did not even know what a latte was. He says, “Since then we have grown from a small espresso bar and coffee roaster to become the largest independent coffee roasting retailer on Long Island, with four espresso bars and a cafe.” Hampton Coffee Company is family-run and community-focused, leaving customers happy and smiling.
Don’t know what to order? Jason’s summer recommendation is their homemade cold brew. He said, “This summer, we are introducing our own cold drink! Made with small-farm AA Rwandan coffee, it is smooth and rich and delicious. Add a drop of half & half and you have a refreshing summer pick-me-up! Also try the lattes; they’re my personal favourite.
Not only is the coffee great, but the staff is too. Jason said, “What makes our staff so special is that our staff is made up of local people. Local people make the difference.” The staff consists of highschool and college students, local moms and dads, and even the regulars who are now behind the counter!
So, great coffee, great staff, what else? Hampton Coffee Company is now “Keepin’ It Green.” They decided to Go Green about six years ago, buying recycled paper products. Now, each one of their cafes is a Green Cafe, which means they’ve LED lights, strong recycling, and even solar panels on the roof of their Water Mill cafe. Not only that, mail orders ship UPS Carbon Neutral, meaning coffee shipments don’t add Carbon Dioxide to the environment. They even deliver their coffee on a hybrid basis around town.
Not only that! Hampton Coffee Company supports more than 100 different local charities, schools and organizations. Jason says, “We show our support by actually participating in the community. We came to the event and gave away free coffee, made gift baskets and donated our Mobile Units to the event.”
Visit Hampton Coffee at any of their Hamptons locations: Water Mill, Southampton, and Westhampton Beach! Jason said, “It is our number one priority that every customer is treated like a VIP.” And I can guarantee that. Enjoy!
