BEACH AND SEA
One of the main reasons for selecting an island as a honeymoon destination is the numerous charming coves, beaches and water-based activities it has to offer.
Elia Beach is the island’s longest beach, perfect for strolling hand in hand along the pristine sands while Praga Beach is a popular spot to sip cocktails and watch the sunset.
For the active couples between you, there is no scarcity of activities to engage in. One of our favorites is a ‘GoDive’ scuba diving tour which takes you to your choice of the Anna II shipwreck, or the nearby reef, both bustling with marine life. The GoDive team makes diving easy and safe for novice divers, so if you have never dived before, there is no need to worry. Nothing says romance like hand-in-hand scuba diving!

Another terrific option is Mykonos kayak day tour, which takes you out to sea by kayak to explore the attractive and unspoiled areas of Mykonos. Some of the stops along the way include secluded beaches, coves with crystal clear water, caves and even a fjord. Along the way the tour operates, take photos to capture memories and afterwards traditional Greek food is served in charming hidden locations. Definitely one that you should not miss while on your honeymoon.
BACK ON DRY LAND
As well as its beaches and water activities, Mykonos is known for its astonishing white architecture which is best explored on foot in Mykonos Town, home to the famous Windmills. The island is also home to a number of hiking trails and bicycle tours.

EATING OUT
Finally, you cannot visit Mykonos without visiting some of the best restaurants to sample what traditional Greek food has to offer. For fine Mediterranean cuisine, M-eating is a charming restaurant set within a conventional building in Mykonos Town. This restaurant is also friendly for vegetarians and vegans.
For something a little more relaxed, we recommend visiting Avli Tou Thodori. The team consistently provides excellent and experienced service and the food is very tasty at a reasonable price. The restaurant is located by the beach, with an amazing selection of wines and cocktails to select from.
So there you have it, something for everybody on this charming romantic island!
