Mr. Louboutin is up to the trick again, and rich divas everywhere are lining up. It’s no surprise then that Christian Louboutin’s foray into the world of cosmetics would be anything less than epic. With an introductory nail polish in the designer’s signature color “Louboutin Red”, this appears to be on every fall fashionista’s must-list. But seriously, is this lacquer mixed with gold or some special ingredient that justifies the ridiculously high price? Even compared to other high-end designer polishes (Chanel, Tom Ford, and Marc Jacobs) which retail for no more than $34, this can be considered the holy grail of nail porn. As Christian says, “There’s no reason to add ordinary products to the beauty category.”
The fact is that each woman wants to feel luxurious and sexy. When you see a lady wearing the famous red bottom, you know two things right away; She paid a fortune for the shoes and she finds them very seductive in them (you can tell by the support). The feeling of glamor is in every detail. Even women who have never owned a pair of Louboutins can have a little bit of beauty to place in their vanity.
