If your bed sheets are made of woven linen, you could be doing your skin a disservice. Of course, the looser weave helps heat escape and keeps you cool while you sleep. But materials that feel abrasive scratch your skin all night and can leave you feeling itchy in the morning.

Admittedly, you may pay a little more up front. But if that means skipping the beauty aisle and trying dozens of creams to solve your skin concerns, the investment is well worth it.
