The first single “Don’t Let Go” from Farruko’s upcoming album, TrapXficante, addresses the new immigration policies set in place by the Trump administration. Farruko used the new single as a platform to launch his inspirational campaign “Let’s Unite” (Unámonos).
Carlos Efrén Rosado, known by his stage name Farruko, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. Genre of music Latin, Reggaeton and Urban. Farruko has been nominated for a Latin Grammy and ASCAP award in 2016. He has shot to fame collaborating with heavyweight acts like Daddy Yankee, Jory, and J Alvarez. He rose to fame with his debut studio album, El Talento Del Bloque.
Farruko’s manager, Franklin Martinez says, “The new video for the new single ‘Don’t Let Go’ has gone viral since we released it. Farruko wanted to convey his message about the new immigration law and the crisis he’s seeing around him where many immigrant families are being separated from each other. He wanted the video to reflect this message and show his fans the current state of politics in this country.”

The shocking video that has gone viral shows depictions of arrests, deportations and family breakdown. This is the first time the artist has been vocal and voiced her opinion on social issues and her views on the Trump administration’s immigration policies.
